1. Tamalpais

The breath-taking vistas from Mount Tamalpais’s upper mountain includes the Farallon Islands 25 miles out to sea, the Marin County hills, San Francisco Bay and City, the East Bay, and Mount Diablo. On rare occasions, the snow-covered Sierra Nevada can be seen 150 miles away.

2. Muir Woods

Muir Woods National Monument is part of California’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, north of San Francisco. It’s known for its towering old-growth redwood trees.

3. Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay is a small city on the California coast, south of San Francisco. A string of beaches along the bay includes Half Moon Bay State Beach. The Coastside Trail leads north to Pillar Point, near the huge waves of the Mavericks surf spot.

4. Sea Ranch

The Sea Ranch is a planned unincorporated community in Sonoma County, California, United States. It is a popular vacation spot. The community's development played a role in the establishment of the California Coastal Commission.

5. Snoopy town Ice skating

Built in 1969 by Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Snoopy's Home Ice has been called the world's most beautiful ice arena. With the charm and ambiance of a Swiss Alpine village, and towering Redwoods in front of the building, Snoopy's Home Ice offers a unique experience not found at any other ice arena.
